Gold record awards and costumes await your visit to the Tina Turner Museum and Flagg Grove School.

Start your journey at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, home to the West Tennessee Music Museum and the Tina Turner Museum at Flagg Grove School. Explore exhibits celebrating the musicians who helped shape American music, including Brownsville's own Queen of Rock 'n' Roll, Tina Turner.

While you're here, visit the historic home of blues pioneer Sleepy John Estes and snap a photo with the vibrant Tina Turner and Sleepy John Estes mural located on the grounds. It's the perfect introduction to Brownsville's rich musical heritage.

NOTE: Before you leave the Center, ask for directions to Nutbush, the small farming community where Anna Mae Bullock was raised. You’ll travel down Highway 19, also known as Tina Turner Highway, to get there.

This more than 130 foot tall metal sculpture, The MindField, towers above West Main Street in Brownsville TN and is a work in progress by local artist Billy Tripp.

Created by artist Billy Tripp, this ever-evolving work of art is Tennessee's tallest metal sculpture and continues to grow as a living expression of creativity and imagination. Located on West Main Street, the massive structure is unlike anything you'll see anywhere else in the country.

Walking through Uptown Alley you experience a depiction of the MindField Sculpture and a Brownsville TN mural paying tribute to Tina Turner and Sleepy John Estes.

Explore the Tina Turner and Sleepy John Estes mural and the colorful MindField mural located in Uptown Alley. If you're visiting on the fourth Thursday of the month, you may even catch a live performance during Uptown Alley Sessions.

Just across the street, you'll find the Three Brownsville Bluesmen mural honoring blues legends Sleepy John Estes, Yank Rachell and Hammie Nixon- three musicians whose influence can still be heard in American music today.
