Spend an autumn weekend under the stars at the Douglass Community Center Backyard Bonfire & Camp Out in Stanton, Tennessee.

Gather around the bonfire, enjoy time with friends and neighbors, and make lasting memories during this community campout at the Douglass Community Center Baseball Field. Campers may stay for one night or enjoy the full two-night experience.

Registration includes a reserved campsite and continental breakfast on Saturday morning.

Camping rates:

  • One night: $50 per campsite

  • Two nights: $75 per campsite

21st Annual Marla Angotti Memorial 5K

Lace up for a good cause during the 21st Annual Marla Angotti Memorial 5K in Brownsville, Tennessee, presented by the 15th Review Club of Brownsville.

More than a race, this annual 5K brings the community together to honor loved ones while supporting children, families and local students. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Marla Angotti and in honor of Clayton Pinner, Nathan Bailey, Kyler Bond, Matthew Fulcher and Corbin Campbell, along with several local charities.

Race proceeds also help provide four scholarships: the Marla Angotti Memorial Scholarship, Margaret Ann Welch Memorial Scholarship and Molly Williamson Memorial Scholarship for Haywood High School graduates, as well as the Bradford Higgins Endowment Scholarship at Freed-Hardeman University.

Participants may register for the in-person race in Brownsville or complete the 5K virtually. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each designated age group.

The West TN Classic Loop Ride brings riders together for a scenic journey through the beautiful rural landscapes of Haywood County—all while supporting a great cause. Proceeds benefit Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, helping provide life-saving care to children across the region.

Cyclists can choose from three well-supported routes:

  • 25-Mile Route – A great option for beginner to intermediate riders

  • 62-Mile Route – A metric century experience for seasoned cyclists
