Antique tractor owners and demonstrators are invited to participate. Registration begins at 9 a.m., with no entry fee, and awards will be presented at 1 p.m.

National Night Out in Brownsville Tennessee
Join the City of Brownsville for National Night Out, an evening dedicated to community connections, neighborhood unity and positive relationships between residents and local law enforcement.
National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign that brings neighbors and public safety professionals together in a welcoming setting. Come spend the evening with friends, meet others from across the community and help celebrate the partnerships that make Brownsville a safer, stronger and more caring place to call home.

Backyard Bonfire and Camp Out - Douglass Community
Spend an autumn weekend under the stars at the Douglass Community Center Backyard Bonfire & Camp Out in Stanton, Tennessee.
Gather around the bonfire, enjoy time with friends and neighbors, and make lasting memories during this community campout at the Douglass Community Center Baseball Field. Campers may stay for one night or enjoy the full two-night experience.
Registration includes a reserved campsite and continental breakfast on Saturday morning.
Camping rates:
One night: $50 per campsite
Two nights: $75 per campsite

Autumn Nights with Jonathan Ellison
The Brownsville Arts Council presents Autumn Nights, featuring Brownsville native Jonathan Ellison—the artist billed as “The King of Beale Street.”
Come home for a legendary night as Ellison brings the music and energy of Memphis’ famous Beale Street back to Brownsville, Tennessee. Celebrate local talent and hometown pride during this special live performance at Lot & Loft.
A limited number of reserved tables are available for $175 per table, with seating for up to eight guests. Tables may be purchased at Brownsville-Haywood Parks and Recreation.
Hatchie Bottom Bluegrass Jamboree
Enjoy a free day of live bluegrass music at the 9th Annual Hatchie Bottom Bluegrass Jamboree at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center in Brownsville, Tennessee.
Shade-tree pickers are invited to start the day with onstage pickin’ at 10 a.m., followed by a full lineup of traditional bluegrass performances beginning at 11 a.m.
Food trucks will be on-site throughout the event.

21st Annual Marla Angotti Memorial 5K
Lace up for a good cause during the 21st Annual Marla Angotti Memorial 5K in Brownsville, Tennessee, presented by the 15th Review Club of Brownsville.
More than a race, this annual 5K brings the community together to honor loved ones while supporting children, families and local students. Proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Marla Angotti and in honor of Clayton Pinner, Nathan Bailey, Kyler Bond, Matthew Fulcher and Corbin Campbell, along with several local charities.
Race proceeds also help provide four scholarships: the Marla Angotti Memorial Scholarship, Margaret Ann Welch Memorial Scholarship and Molly Williamson Memorial Scholarship for Haywood High School graduates, as well as the Bradford Higgins Endowment Scholarship at Freed-Hardeman University.
Participants may register for the in-person race in Brownsville or complete the 5K virtually. Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three male and female finishers in each designated age group.
19th Annual Trick or Treat with Me

Gear up for West Tennessee’s newest cycling traditions! The West TN Classic Loop Ride brings riders together for a scenic journey through the beautiful rural landscapes of Haywood County—all while supporting a great cause. Proceeds benefit Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, helping provide life-saving care to children across the region.
Cyclists can choose from three well-supported routes:
25-Mile Route – A great option for beginner to intermediate riders

62-Mile Route – A metric century experience for seasoned cyclists
All routes include clearly marked courses, aid stations, and restrooms to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride experience.

Downtown Brownsville continues to spread holiday cheer during a special Christmas event on Thursday, December 18, from 5-7 pm. The celebration, “Brownsville Christmas Shop & Stroll,” invites families and shoppers to enjoy extended store hours, festive activities and a lively holiday atmosphere.
The event features an opportunity for children to share their wish lists and talk with Santa, a Grinch roaming around downtown, holiday photo opportunities at the community Christmas tree and fun window displays, live music featuring local talents and special promotions from participating businesses. A “Holiday Passport” encourages visitors to shop at multiple locations for a chance to win a gift basket filled with local treats and gifts.
